An Inverness-based IT company is planning to take on new staff after winning a clutch of new customers, including leading Highland PR firm Platform PR.
sfG Software already has a team of eight including six technical staff who man the help desk and develop software applications. The company now hopes to expand both its IT support and development teams to cope with increased demand.
Founded in 2009, the firm has grown steadily in the last four years as its reputation has spread. And as Managing Director David Garvie explained almost all their new business comes in the form of referrals from existing clients: “We feel it’s a real sign of confidence in the services we offer that our customers recommend us to others. Our company name sums up our business philosophy – we provide a “giant” service but with the level of care and attention you’d get from a small, friendly company – hence small, friendly Giant, sfG.”
Originally based in Alness, the firm moved to larger offices in Inverness in 2011. But with team members based in Ross-shire and Strathspey, as well as Inverness, the company continues to provide a fast and efficient call out service across the Highlands.
sfG’s impressive client base includes Jacobite Cruises, Eden Court Theatre, Aquascot, CairnGorm Mountain and HSPC, and the start of the new year has already seen a significant increase in enquiries.
sfG is the only Microsoft Competency Partner in the Inverness area and last year was awarded the prestigious Sage Business Partner accreditation.
